R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Regor Marin is graduating as the valedictorian of |
|
the senior class of Foy H. Moody High School in Corpus Christi in |
|
2015; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; Mr. Marin has demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, with his favorite being |
|
financial accounting; in addition, he participated in numerous |
|
extracurricular activities, including Science Club and University |
|
Interscholastic League competitions; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Roger and Maria Marin, Mr. Marin plans to |
|
continue his education by enrolling at Texas A&M University--Corpus |
|
Christi to study accounting; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Regor Marin has |
|
earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and classmates, |
|
and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment |
|
to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for |
|
this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Regor Marin, valedictorian of the |
|
Class of 2015 at Foy H. Moody High School in Corpus Christi, and |
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins |
|
the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Marin as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
