R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Kristina Correa is graduating as the valedictorian
  of the senior class of Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi
  in 2015; and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; Ms. Correa has demonstrated a thorough
  understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her favorites being
  biology, chemistry, English, and calculus; in addition, she
  participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including
  academic decathlon, International Thespian Society, and the
  KEDT-TV Challenge! Team; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Vicky Correa, Ms. Correa plans to
  continue her education by enrolling at Stanford University to study
  biology; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Kristina Correa has
  earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates,
  and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
  to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
  this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Kristina Correa, valedictorian of
  the Class of 2015 at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi,
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
  begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Correa as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
