R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Gabrielle Marie Lencioni is graduating as the |
|
|
valedictorian of the senior class of Mary Carroll High School in |
|
|
Corpus Christi in 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Lencioni has demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her |
|
|
favorites being mathematics and English; in addition, she |
|
|
participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including |
|
|
academic decathlon, student council, and National Honor Society; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Ray and Yolanda Lencioni, |
|
|
Ms. Lencioni plans to continue her education by enrolling at Rice |
|
|
University to study chemical engineering; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Gabrielle Marie |
|
|
Lencioni has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Gabrielle Marie Lencioni, |
|
|
valedictorian of the Class of 2015 at Mary Carroll High School in |
|
|
Corpus Christi, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Lencioni as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
