R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The family and many friends of Joel Ayala Jr. of
  Kerrville were deeply saddened by the untimely passing of that
  beloved gentleman on April 28, 2015, at the age of 58; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Kerrville on May 19, 1956, Joel Ayala was the
  son of Joel and Emma Ayala; he attended Tivy High School and he went
  on to earn a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in 1978;
  for nearly two decades, he worked as a real estate broker with Carl
  Meek Ranch Sales; and
         WHEREAS, Elected by the voters of Kerr County, Precinct 2,
  Mr. Ayala became a county constable in 2000, an office he held for
  another 14 years; he further served his community as a Hill Country
  mounted peace officer and as an active member of Calvary Temple
  Church; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Ayala shared 28 years of marriage with the
  former Brenda Jernigan; he took great pride in his two daughters,
  Tera and Andie, and he cherished the time he spent with his three
  grandchildren, Alyssa, Draven, and Brezlen, and his "granddog,"
  Ziggy; and
         WHEREAS, Although his time on this earth was far too brief,
  Joel Ayala brought great joy to the lives of his loved ones, and
  they will forever carry him close in their hearts; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Joel Ayala Jr. and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his
  daughters, Tera Ayala and Chandra "Andie" Paine; to his
  grandchildren, Alyssa, Draven, and Brezlen; to his sister, Diana
  Ayala; to his father, Joel Ayala Sr.; and to his other relatives and
  many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Joel Ayala
  Jr.
