R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Allison Faith, Sheriyar Hyderali, and Orren Smith of |
|
|
Livingston High School earned well-deserved recognition by |
|
|
qualifying to compete at the 2015 University Interscholastic League |
|
|
Academic State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In order to advance to state, all three students |
|
|
turned in outstanding performances at the Region 3-5A event; |
|
|
Ms. Faith competed in the state meet in both editorial writing and |
|
|
headline writing, while Mr. Smith and Mr. Hyderali advanced in |
|
|
computer applications; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through their participation in UIL academics, these |
|
|
outstanding young Texans proudly represented their school, and the |
|
|
dedication they demonstrated is sure to serve them well in the years |
|
|
ahead; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Allison Faith, Sheriyar Hyderali, |
|
|
and Orren Smith on qualifying for the UIL Academic State Meet and |
|
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success. |
