R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Students from Reicher Catholic High School in Waco |
|
|
distinguished themselves with their outstanding showing at the |
|
|
Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools 4A academic meet |
|
|
held in Waco March 23-24, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Leading the group was senior Maya Butler, who was |
|
|
crowned state champion in the literary criticism event, and fine |
|
|
performances were also turned in by senior Mikayela Hammond in |
|
|
poetry interpretation, senior Stephanie Klaskin in literary |
|
|
criticism, and junior Daniella Duran in spelling; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With their efforts at the meet, these outstanding |
|
|
students have proudly represented Reicher Catholic High, and the |
|
|
dedication they have demonstrated is sure to serve them well in the |
|
|
years ahead; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize the Reicher Catholic High School |
|
|
students who earned state honors at the 2015 TAPPS 4A academic meet |
|
|
and extend to each of them sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for the students as an expression of high regard by the Texas House |
|
|
of Representatives. |
