R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, American Heritage Girl Troops from across Texas are
  gathering at the State Capitol on May 19, 2015, in celebration of
  American Heritage Girl Day; and
         WHEREAS, for the last 20 year, American Heritage Girls have
  sought to build women of integrity through service to God, family,
  community and country in girls ages 5 to 18; the organization also
  encourages development of life skill enhancement, developing
  teamwork and building confidence, social development, girl
  leadership, character development and spiritual development; and
         WHEREAS, Today, the organization boasts membership in all 50
  states and overseas, with over 100 troops in Texas representing
  cities and counties all over the state;
         WHEREAS, Inspiring young women to become community leaders
  and women of faith and courage, the American Heritage Girls is
  enriching countless lives and developing a host of engaged and
  thoughtful citizens; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize May 19, 2015, as American Heritage
  Girls day at the State Capitol and extend to all those in attendance
  sincere best wishes for a meaningful and productive visit.
