R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kodi Schroeder of Caldwell was awarded the prize for |
|
|
the reserve champion steer at the 2015 Junior Market Steer Show on |
|
|
March 25; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Competing against other top 4-H and FFA students at |
|
|
the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo in Austin, Ms. Schroeder's ABC |
|
|
steer placed first and was named Reserve Champion ABC in the market |
|
|
steers category; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Schroeder is a member of the senior livestock |
|
|
judging team and an officer in the Burleson County 4-H Club, and she |
|
|
is also secretary of the Caldwell High School FFA chapter; she |
|
|
further serves her peers as vice president of the student council, |
|
|
and she is an accomplished player on the Caldwell Lady Hornets golf |
|
|
team; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Keith and Rhonda |
|
|
Schroeder, this outstanding young Texan has demonstrated great |
|
|
ability and determination, and she may indeed look forward to a |
|
|
future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kodi Schroeder on showing the |
|
|
reserve champion winning steer at the 2015 Junior Market Steer Show |
|
|
at the Star of Texas Livestock Show and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Schroeder as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
