R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the Hondo High School FFA homesite |
|
|
judging team distinguished themselves with their first place win at |
|
|
the National Land and Range Judging Contest on May 7, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Competing against 52 other top squads from across |
|
|
the country, the group emerged as national champions in the FFA |
|
|
homesite judging category; participants were required to |
|
|
accurately determine and calculate a number of factors and consider |
|
|
their impact on the suitability of a site for building a home; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Hondo team included Max Bales, Aaron Oefinger, |
|
|
Wesley Rogge, Ellie Jones, and Coye Rosenbaum, and they were ably |
|
|
guided by their advisors, Tim Tatsch, Rodger Welch, and Warren |
|
|
Beard; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With their fine showing at the National Land and |
|
|
Range Judging Contest, the members of the Hondo High School FFA |
|
|
homesite judging team have brought credit to their school, and they |
|
|
may take justifiable pride in the talent and dedication they have |
|
|
demonstrated; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Hondo High School FFA homesite |
|
|
judging team on its championship win at the National Land and Range |
|
|
Judging Contest and extend to its members sincere best wishes for |
|
|
the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
