R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Edward and Kay Moraw of |
|
|
Cameron celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on April |
|
|
24, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Moraw were joined in matrimony in 1965 |
|
|
at a ceremony held at St. Monica Catholic Church in Cameron; |
|
|
through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family |
|
|
that includes their three children, Lisa Coker and her husband, |
|
|
Randy, Vicki Haynes and her husband, Bob, and Neal Moraw, as well as |
|
|
their four grandchildren, Madison and Harrison Coker and Carrie and |
|
|
Collin Haynes; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 1961 alumnus of C. H. Yoe High School, Mr. Moraw |
|
|
retired from Alcoa after 40 years of employment; Mrs. Moraw |
|
|
graduated from Milano High School in 1964 and worked as a beauty |
|
|
operator from 1965 to 1969; she retired from a career with the City |
|
|
of Cameron in 2010, and continues to assist with early voting and |
|
|
other projects as needed; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Moraw have enjoyed five decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Edward and Kay Moraw on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
