R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Andi Gentile has ably served her fellow Texans as a
  policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu during
  the 84th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the LBJ School of
  Public Affairs advanced criminal justice legislative internship
  seminar, Ms. Gentile has provided vital assistance in handling a
  wide variety of challenging tasks; her resourcefulness and
  initiative have earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her
  contributions to carrying forth Representative Wu's criminal and
  juvenile justice legislative agenda have helped address issues
  facing citizens across the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, A 2008 graduate of Wesleyan University, Ms. Gentile
  brought to her position valuable experience as a community
  organizing resident with Domestic Workers United, as a graduate
  research and policy intern with the National Council on Crime and
  Delinquency, and as a policy researcher with the Texas House
  Criminal Jurisprudence Committee; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
  duties as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Andi Gentile for her service as a policy
  analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and extend to
  her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Gentile as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
