R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Andi Gentile has ably served her fellow Texans as a |
|
|
policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu during |
|
|
the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the LBJ School of |
|
|
Public Affairs advanced criminal justice legislative internship |
|
|
seminar, Ms. Gentile has provided vital assistance in handling a |
|
|
wide variety of challenging tasks; her resourcefulness and |
|
|
initiative have earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her |
|
|
contributions to carrying forth Representative Wu's criminal and |
|
|
juvenile justice legislative agenda have helped address issues |
|
|
facing citizens across the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 2008 graduate of Wesleyan University, Ms. Gentile |
|
|
brought to her position valuable experience as a community |
|
|
organizing resident with Domestic Workers United, as a graduate |
|
|
research and policy intern with the National Council on Crime and |
|
|
Delinquency, and as a policy researcher with the Texas House |
|
|
Criminal Jurisprudence Committee; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|
|
duties as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Andi Gentile for her service as a policy |
|
|
analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Gentile as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
