R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Nick Kincaid has ably served his fellow Texans as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Elliott |
|
|
Naishtat during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Kincaid has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Austin, Mr. Kincaid graduated from |
|
|
McCallum High School and subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
biology from Angelo State University; he is currently pursuing a |
|
|
master's degree in community and regional planning at The |
|
|
University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Nick Kincaid for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Elliott |
|
|
Naishtat and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Kincaid as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
