R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Elvis A. Lossa has ably served his fellow Texans as
  an intern in the office of State Representative Paul Workman during
  the 84th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Lossa has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained
  valuable experience in the field of public service; and
         WHEREAS, A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Lossa served his
  country from 2005 to 2013, completing tours of duty in Iraq and
  Afghanistan; he went on to establish the Elvis Realty Group and is
  currently majoring in government at Austin Community College, where
  he represents veterans as a senator in the student government
  association; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed his duties as a
  legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Elvis A. Lossa for his service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Paul
  Workman and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Lossa as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
