R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jose Casillas has ably served his fellow Texans as a |
|
|
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho |
|
|
Nevárez during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Casillas has provided |
|
|
vital staff support in handling a wide variety of challenging |
|
|
tasks; in addition to learning more about the legislative process |
|
|
and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
|
valuable work experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Francisco and Maria Casillas, Jose Casillas |
|
|
currently is in his junior year at St. Mary's University, where he is |
|
|
studying political science in preparation to attend law school; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative assistant with skill and dedication, and he |
|
|
is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jose Casillas for his service as a |
|
|
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho |
|
|
Nevárez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all of his future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Casillas as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
