H.R. No. 3096

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Hollyn Dinnes has ably served her fellow Texans as a legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho Nevárez during the 84th Legislative Session; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Dinnes has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable experience in the field of public service; as a part of her duties, she has helped prepare bills for committee hearings, drafted congratulatory letters to constituents, and provided information for resolutions authored by Representative Nevárez; moreover, her ability to multitask and her hardworking nature have been greatly appreciated by her colleagues; and

WHEREAS, The daughter of Mark and Kryste Dinnes, Ms. Dinnes is currently a student at Austin Community College, and she will be continuing her education at the University of Houston in the fall; she plans to earn a degree in sociology and eventually attend law school; and

WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her duties as a legislative assistant with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby commend Hollyn Dinnes for her service as a legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho Nevárez and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Dinnes as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
