R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Chester High School boys' 4 x 400-meter relay
  team achieved great distinction by participating in the 2015
  University Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and
         WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at
  Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 15, Billy Thompson, Keaton
  Whitworth, Cord Neal, and Chris Carter
  turned in a notable
  performance; they achieved a time of 3 minutes, 39.93 seconds, to
  earn a seventh-place finish in this hard-fought contest; and
         WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete in the state's
  premier showcase for high school track and field athletes, these
  fine young Texans have ably represented their school, and they may
  indeed reflect with pride on their accomplishments; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the Chester High
  School boys' 4 x 400-meter relay team on participating in the Class
  1A competition at the 2015 UIL Track & Field State Meet and extend
  to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
