R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Hunt of Burkeville High School achieved |
|
|
great distinction by participating in the 2015 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at |
|
|
Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 15, Mr. Hunt placed sixth |
|
|
overall in the boys' Class 1A shot put event; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete as one of the elite |
|
|
track & field athletes in the Lone Star State, Robert Hunt has ably |
|
|
represented his school, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his |
|
|
notable accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert Hunt on participating in the |
|
|
Class 1A shot put event at the 2015 UIL Track & Field State Meet and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hunt as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
