R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Nicholas Segada has been named salutatorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2015 at Humble High School, and he indeed merits special |
|
|
recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as one of the two |
|
|
top-ranking students in his class, Mr. Segada demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Segada is a member of the National Honor |
|
|
Society, Robotics Club, and the Humble High UIL Academic team; |
|
|
after graduation, he plans to attend The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin, where he hopes to pursue a degree in chemical engineering; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of James and Lynn Segada, Nicholas Segada |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Nicholas Segada, salutatorian of |
|
|
the Humble High School Class of 2015, and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success as he begins the next exciting chapter |
|
|
of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Segada as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
