R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dylan Lu has been named valedictorian of the Class |
|
|
of 2015 at Kingwood High School, and he indeed merits special |
|
|
recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Lu demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Lu is a member of the National Honor Society, |
|
|
and he has qualified for a number of scholarships; while pursuing |
|
|
his studies, he also participated in swimming and volunteered at |
|
|
Kingwood Medical Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Dai and Yanli Lu, Dylan Lu |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dylan Lu, valedictorian of the |
|
|
Kingwood High School Class of 2015, and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success as he begins the next exciting chapter |
|
|
of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Lu as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
