R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, David Fuss has been named salutatorian of the Class |
|
of 2015 at Kingwood Park High School in Kingwood, and he indeed |
|
merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as one of the two |
|
top-ranking students in his class, Mr. Fuss demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Fuss has been involved in a number of |
|
extracurricular activities, including varsity tennis and mission |
|
work through his church; after graduation, he will attend the |
|
University of Houston, where he has been awarded an Academic |
|
Excellence Scholarship; he plans to study business and law in order |
|
to pursue a career as a corporate or prosecution attorney; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Edward and Carol Fuss, David Fuss has |
|
earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and classmates, |
|
and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment to excellence |
|
have opened the way to a bright and promising future for this |
|
outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate David Fuss, salutatorian of the |
|
Kingwood Park High School Class of 2015, and extend to him sincere |
|
best wishes for continued success as he begins the next exciting |
|
chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Fuss as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
