R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Frank Graves Jr. of McGregor graduated with a |
|
|
doctoral degree in education from the University of Mary |
|
|
Hardin-Baylor on May 9, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While attending UMHB, Dr. Graves was a member of |
|
|
Kappa Delta Pi, and he was named the Doctor of Education Outstanding |
|
|
Student of the Year; he is currently working as the dean of |
|
|
continuing education and corporate services at McLennan Community |
|
|
College; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Graves is the son of Mary Graves and the late |
|
|
Frank Graves Sr.; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and |
|
|
support of his wife, Ramona, and his daughter, Mary Elizabeth; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Frank Graves Jr. has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of his professors and classmates, |
|
|
and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for |
|
|
this notable Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Frank Graves Jr. on his |
|
|
graduation from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success with his important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Graves as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
