R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Ezavier Bacon of Leggett High School achieved great |
|
|
distinction by participating in the 2015 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Track and Field State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at |
|
|
Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 14, Mr. Bacon cleared a |
|
|
height of six feet in the Class 1A boys' high jump, giving him a |
|
|
sixth-place finish in the event; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete as one of the elite |
|
|
track and field athletes in the Lone Star State, Ezavier Bacon has |
|
|
ably represented his school, and he may indeed reflect with pride on |
|
|
his notable accomplishment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ezavier Bacon on participating in |
|
|
the Class 1A boys' high jump at the 2015 UIL Track and Field State |
|
|
Meet and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Bacon as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
