R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A life lived with joy and purpose drew to a close on
  May 5, 2015, with the passing of Mary Lynn Hunt of Winnsboro at the
  age of 78; and
         WHEREAS, The former Mary Darby was born in Wood County on
  January 3, 1937, to L. C. and Bernice Harrison Darby; she married
  Roy Hunt, with whom she shared 54 loving years, and the couple were
  blessed with two daughters, Lori and Amy; and
         WHEREAS, A longtime resident of Winnsboro, Mrs. Hunt owned
  and operated the Mary Hunt Insurance office for the past three
  decades; she was a member of the local Pilot Club, and she helped
  maintain the city's downtown pocket park; furthermore, she was a
  valued congregant of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro, where she
  attended the Winsome Sunday school class; and
         WHEREAS, Although Mary Hunt will be deeply missed, she has
  left her family and friends with countless cherished memories, and
  they will forever hold her close in their hearts; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Mary Lynn Hunt and
  extend heartfelt condolences to the members of her family: to her
  daughters, Lori Gorman and her husband, Will, and Amy Powell and her
  husband, Michael; to her brothers, Duane Darby and Harry Darby and
  his wife, Shirley; to her grandchildren, Weston Gorman, Annie
  Hawkins, Shanna Littlefield, Lacy Horn, and Salina Tullos; to her
  nine great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary Lynn
  Hunt.
