R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Isaiah Patterson of Foy H. Moody High School in |
|
|
Corpus Christi achieved great distinction by winning the bronze |
|
|
medal in the 5A boys' 400-meter dash at the University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet on May 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Facing the top competitors in the state, |
|
|
Mr. Patterson turned in a remarkable performance, clocking in at |
|
|
48.15 seconds to claim third place in the event; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school track and field athletes, Isaiah Patterson has ably |
|
|
represented his school, and he may look back with pride on this |
|
|
notable accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Isaiah Patterson on his |
|
|
third-place finish in the 5A boys' 400-meter dash at the 2015 UIL |
|
|
Track & Field State Meet and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Patterson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
