R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Erin Courtney Cusack has distinguished herself |
|
|
through her service as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Eddie Rodriguez during the 84th Texas Legislative |
|
|
Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Cusack is a master of global policy studies |
|
|
candidate at the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at |
|
|
The University of Texas at Austin, where she is casually |
|
|
concentrating in international development; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although it is no big deal, Ms. Cusack was selected |
|
|
as a Fulbright Scholar after graduating summa cum laude with a |
|
|
political science and Spanish double major from Temple University |
|
|
and taught English in Madrid, Spain; away from her school and |
|
|
legislative duties, she spends her free time volunteering at UT's |
|
|
Innovations for Peace and Development Center, contemplating the |
|
|
world's greatest challenges, and baking blueberry muffins; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Cusack's tremendous work ethic and sharp |
|
|
analytical skills were of great benefit in the analysis of |
|
|
legislation and communication with constituents; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize the service and dedication of Erin |
|
|
Courtney Cusack to this House and to the fine constituents of the |
|
|
fighting fifty-first state house district of Texas; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Cusack as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
