R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Stefen Alan Barton is graduating from The University |
|
|
of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston on May 30, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Brian Barton and the grandson of Johnny |
|
|
and Lillian Barton, Mr. Barton was the valedictorian of the Class |
|
|
of 2007 at Robinson High School, where he served as a drum major in |
|
|
the marching band; he went on to graduate cum laude from UT Austin |
|
|
in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in human biology; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Barton is graduating in the top half of his |
|
|
class at UTMB, with a degree in allopathic medicine; he will |
|
|
complete his medical training in the Waukesha Family Medicine |
|
|
Residency Program of the Medical College of Wisconsin in |
|
|
preparation for a career practicing family medicine; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and he may indeed take great pride in his |
|
|
accomplishments as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his |
|
|
life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Stefen Alan Barton on his |
|
|
graduation from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston |
|
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Barton as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
