R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Madeleine Bewley has ably served her fellow Texans
  as an intern in the office of State Representative Chris Turner
  during the 84th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Maddy Bewley has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained
  valuable experience in the field of public service; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Bewley earned bachelor's degrees in public
  relations and advertising from The University of Texas at
  Arlington; she previously served as the lead intern for the Wendy R.
  Davis for Governor campaign, and she was a spring fellow with
  Battleground Texas; furthermore, she has volunteered her time and
  talents to the American Advertising Federation, Big Brothers Big
  Sisters of America, and Southwest Children's Camp Association; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Madeleine Bewley for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Chris
  Turner and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Bewley as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
