R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Zhuoshi Liu has ably served in the office of State
  Representative Chris Turner during the 84th Legislative Session as
  a fellow in the Energy and Environment Law Internship Program of
  Texas; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, "George" Liu has advised
  Representative Turner on energy and environmental issues, and he
  has provided vital expertise and assistance in other matters as
  well; while gaining hands-on experience in the policy-making
  process, he has learned more about the field of public service and
  the concerns of citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Liu recently served as a law clerk for the State
  Office of Administrative Hearings, where he assisted in the
  drafting of judicial opinions and memoranda on environmental
  regulation and health care; he previously served as a judicial
  intern in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas
  and as a legal consultant for the international law firm of
  L.L.P. Baker Botts in Beijing; a 2014 graduate of The University of
  Texas School of Law, he also holds a master's degree in
  international law from Sun Yat-sen University School of Law in
  Guangzhou, China; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed his
  responsibilities with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Zhuoshi "George" Liu for his service in
  the office of State Representative Chris Turner as a fellow in the
  Energy and Environment Law Internship Program of Texas and extend
  to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Liu as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
