R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Evelyn Aileen Mendez is graduating from Pasadena |
|
|
Early College High School on June 4, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In undertaking the rigorous PECHS curriculum, |
|
|
Ms. Mendez has completed an accelerated course of study in which |
|
|
she has earned both a high school diploma and an associate of arts |
|
|
degree in business from San Jacinto Community College; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A first generation graduate, Ms. Mendez plans to |
|
|
further her education by attending the University of Houston-Clear |
|
|
Lake, where she will pursue a degree in marketing as she works |
|
|
toward a career in sales; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at PECHS, this accomplished young |
|
|
Texan has distinguished herself through her skill and |
|
|
determination, and the knowledge and confidence she has acquired |
|
|
along the way will serve her well in the years to come; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Evelyn Aileen Mendez on her |
|
|
graduation from Pasadena Early College High School as a member of |
|
|
the Class of 2015 and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Mendez as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
