R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, On May 8, 2015, Clarendon College celebrated the
  graduation of the inaugural class in its registered nursing
  transition program; and
         WHEREAS, Developed to address the shortage of medical
  professionals in the Panhandle region, the yearlong program
  prepares licensed vocational nurses to be registered nurses by
  providing participants with a greater scope of practice in
  delivering and coordinating patient care; and
         WHEREAS, Registered nurses are a vital and respected part of
  the health care system, and by acquiring the knowledge and skills
  necessary to excel in this profession, these students are making a
  commendable investment in themselves and in the future of their
  communities; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the Class of 2015 of
  the registered nursing transition program at Clarendon College and
  extend to each of them sincere best wishes for continued success;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the program as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
