R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, On May 8, 2015, Clarendon College celebrated the |
|
graduation of the inaugural class in its registered nursing |
|
transition program; and |
|
WHEREAS, Developed to address the shortage of medical |
|
professionals in the Panhandle region, the yearlong program |
|
prepares licensed vocational nurses to be registered nurses by |
|
providing participants with a greater scope of practice in |
|
delivering and coordinating patient care; and |
|
WHEREAS, Registered nurses are a vital and respected part of |
|
the health care system, and by acquiring the knowledge and skills |
|
necessary to excel in this profession, these students are making a |
|
commendable investment in themselves and in the future of their |
|
communities; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the Class of 2015 of |
|
the registered nursing transition program at Clarendon College and |
|
extend to each of them sincere best wishes for continued success; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the program as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
