R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Nathaniel Rubio has ably served his fellow Texans as |
|
|
an assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho Nevárez |
|
|
during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Rubio has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Rubio is a junior at The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin, where he is studying government; he received the Provost's |
|
|
Gold Scholarship, and he is the alumni relations chair for Pi Kappa |
|
|
Phi and a cofounder of the Sustainable Dairy Goat Initiative; |
|
|
furthermore, he has served as a volunteer with the Mission Regional |
|
|
Medical Center and the Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Martin and Juliana Rubio, Nathaniel Rubio |
|
|
has performed his duties as a legislative assistant with skill and |
|
|
dedication, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for |
|
|
his fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Nathaniel Rubio for his service as a |
|
|
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho |
|
|
Nevárez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Rubio as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
