R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Frances |
|
Correne Henson Parker of Sulphur Springs, who passed away on May 14, |
|
2015, at the age of 92; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of David and Fannie Henson, the former |
|
Frances Henson was born on April 1, 1923, in Pittsburg, Texas; she |
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony with Dorman Parker on June 20, 1942, |
|
in Weatherford, and the couple became the proud parents of four |
|
children, Wayne, Jean, Daphney, and Marilyn; they were further |
|
blessed as their family grew to include 9 grandchildren, 15 |
|
great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, In addition to embracing her roles as a wife, |
|
mother, and homemaker, Mrs. Parker was a woman of deep faith and a |
|
valued congregant of Grace Family Church in Sulphur Springs; and |
|
WHEREAS, Beloved for her strength and wisdom, Frances Parker |
|
touched the lives of many during her journey on this earth, and |
|
those who knew her will forever hold her close in their hearts; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Frances Correne |
|
Henson Parker and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her |
|
family: to her son, Wayne Parker, and his wife, Clary; to her |
|
daughters, Jean Frazier and her husband, Billy Wayne, Daphney Gail |
|
Hood and her husband, Johnny, and Marilyn Ann White and her husband, |
|
Roger; to her grandchildren, Rick and Jason Frazier, Lee, Colby, |
|
and Carly Parker, Dana and Alan White, Wesley Hood, and Felecia |
|
Heinz; to her great-grandchildren, Ruston, Macy, Caleb, and Colton |
|
Frazier, Bradley Reinhart, Cody and Jessica Heinz, Ashlyn and |
|
Makinna White, James, Julian, and Joseph Hood, and Joshua, Betzi, |
|
and Clara Parker; to her great-great-grandchildren, Ashton Frazier |
|
and Sterling Bradley Reinhart; and to her other relatives and many |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Frances |
|
Parker. |
