R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Shelby Goff has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
district director in the office of State Representative Morgan |
|
|
Meyer during the 84th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Goff's resourcefulness and initiative have |
|
|
earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to |
|
|
carrying forth Representative Meyer's legislative agenda have |
|
|
helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A resident of District 108, Ms. Goff possesses a |
|
|
wealth of knowledge about the area and its residents, and she |
|
|
frequently attends community events to advance constituent |
|
|
outreach efforts; prior to Representative Meyer's election, she |
|
|
acted as his campaign manager; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|
|
duties as district director with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Shelby Goff for her service as district |
|
|
director in the office of State Representative Morgan Meyer and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Goff as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
