R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Oliver Carlton Dack has greatly benefited fellow
  citizens of Bexar County through 40 years of dedicated community
  service; and
         WHEREAS, Committed to the beautification of the area, Oliver
  Dack began collecting and recycling aluminum cans along Somerset
  Road south of San Antonio in 1975; he rides his bicycle along the
  road in all kinds of weather to retrieve recyclables, and he also
  picks up any trash that he finds and disposes of it properly; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Dack was born in Bexar County on December 22,
  1952, and he is a lifelong resident; he graduated from Southwest
  High School, and he remains a loyal fan of its football team, the
  Dragons; in his leisure time, he enjoys listening to classic rock
  and roll, and he is quite an expert on that subject; and
         WHEREAS, Over the course of four decades, Oliver Dack has
  given most generously of his time to improve the quality of life in
  Bexar County, and his efforts have earned the admiration and
  appreciation of innumerable people; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Oliver Dack for his outstanding record
  of community service and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success and happiness; and, be it further
         
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Dack as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
