R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Scott Bartlett of San Antonio is |
|
|
commemorating a special milestone in his life on June 4, 2015, as he |
|
|
graduates from the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since coming to TSD in 2010, Mr. Bartlett has proven |
|
|
himself to be an exemplary student and a talented actor, performing |
|
|
in a number of school plays, including Alice in Funkyland, Peter |
|
|
Pan, and Frankenstein; he earned second place in the talent show, |
|
|
and he also participated in track, swimming, and cross-country; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Bartlett plans to continue his education at the |
|
|
Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf before transferring to |
|
|
Texas A&M University, where he hopes to study mechanical |
|
|
engineering; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert Scott Bartlett on his |
|
|
graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Bartlett as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
