R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of Restoring Lives Bible Fellowship |
|
|
Church in Garland celebrated the one-year anniversary of their |
|
|
church's founding with the inaugural Praise in the Park and a |
|
|
special service May 30-31, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established by Pastor Timothy P. Armstrong Sr. and |
|
|
his wife, Cassandra, the church held its first service on June 1, |
|
|
2014; in order to fulfill its mission of "Restoring Lives One Soul |
|
|
at a Time," it has sought to transform the lives of both believers |
|
|
and nonbelievers through the organization of a number of vital |
|
|
ministries; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of this notable religious institution |
|
|
are united by their shared beliefs and traditions, and they have |
|
|
created a variety of commendable programs that foster fellowship |
|
|
and community outreach by providing help to those in need; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since its founding, Restoring Lives Bible |
|
|
Fellowship Church has served as a source of inspiration and |
|
|
guidance to those who worship there, and it is indeed a pleasure to |
|
|
join in honoring the church at this special milestone; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the one-year anniversary of |
|
|
Restoring Lives Bible Fellowship Church and extend to Pastor |
|
|
Timothy P. Armstrong Sr. and his congregation sincere best wishes |
|
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the church as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
