R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Chase Whiting of Fredericksburg High School
  achieved great distinction by winning the silver medal in the Class
  4A 300-meter hurdles and the bronze medal in the Class 4A 100-meter
  hurdles at the 2015 University Interscholastic League Track & Field
  State Meet; and
         WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at
  Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 16, Ms. Whiting turned in a
  notable performance, clocking 14.78 seconds in the 100-meter event
  and a personal best of 44.63 seconds in the 300-meter event; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Eric and Crystal Whiting, Chase
  Whiting has excelled in the state's premier showcase for high
  school track & field athletes, and she will cherish her memories of
  this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Chase Whiting on her success in the
  Class 4A 300- and 100-meter hurdles at the 2015 UIL Track & Field
  State Meet and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Whiting as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
