R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Arnold R. Alaniz II has ably served his fellow |
|
|
Texans as legislative director in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Roland Gutierrez during the 84th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The resourcefulness and initiative of Mr. Alaniz |
|
|
have earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his |
|
|
contributions to carrying forth Representative Gutierrez's |
|
|
legislative agenda have helped address issues facing citizens |
|
|
across the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Alaniz earned his bachelor's degree in |
|
|
political science at Texas Tech University, where he was the |
|
|
solicitor general for the Student Supreme Court and a member of the |
|
|
Texas Tech Student Democrats, the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law |
|
|
fraternity, and the Pi Sigma Alpha national political science honor |
|
|
fraternity; he is currently working toward his master's degree in |
|
|
public administration at Texas Tech, and he is due to graduate in |
|
|
August 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |
|
|
duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Arnold R. Alaniz II for his service as |
|
|
legislative director in the office of State Representative Roland |
|
|
Gutierrez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Alaniz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
