R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of Marion T. Pearson of Corpus Christi on May 22, 2015, at |
|
the age of 87; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Harold J. Trimble and Edna Bell |
|
Peterson Trimble, the former Marion Trimble was born in |
|
Haynesville, Louisiana, on September 27, 1927; later, she moved to |
|
Texas, and she graduated from Talco High School; and |
|
WHEREAS, She married Horace Milton Pearson Jr., and they |
|
became the proud parents of two sons, Jon Kirk Pearson and Kelly |
|
Pearson; after relocating to Corpus Christi in the early 1970s, she |
|
worked for Alfred Edge Realtors for several years; Mrs. Pearson was |
|
devoted to her family, and she was a kind neighbor and a mentor to |
|
innumerable people; moreover, she was a beloved member of Kings |
|
Crossing Church of Christ; and |
|
WHEREAS, Marion Pearson will be deeply missed by all who were |
|
fortunate enough to share in her love and friendship, and they will |
|
forever treasure their memories of her warm and caring ways; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Marion T. Pearson and |
|
extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her son, |
|
Jon Kirk Pearson; to her sister, Katy Walters; and to her other |
|
relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Marion T. |
|
Pearson. |
