R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Mary Jo
  Walker of Mount Pleasant, who passed away on May 26, 2015, at the
  age of 90; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Elmer and Louilla Stephens, the
  former Mary Jo Stephens was born in Franklin County on September 4,
  1924; she was employed as the cafeteria manager at E. C. Brice
  Elementary School until her retirement; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Walker was the devoted mother of two children,
  Steven and Terry; following the passing of her first husband, Ray
  Yancy, she was fortunate enough to find love again and married Dean
  Walker, who also preceded her in death; she was a valued member of
  the Highland Park Baptist Church; and
         WHEREAS, Although Mary Jo Walker will be deeply missed,
  cherished memories of time spent in her company will long endure in
  the hearts of her family and friends; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Mary Jo Walker and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  daughter, Terry Hill, and her husband, Roy; to her grandchildren
  and their spouses, Mary Jane and Tracy Bidy and Ernest and Lauren
  Murphy; to her great-grandchildren, Rachel and Hannah Murphy,
  Dustin Baker, and Holly and Burl Brady; to her five
  great-great-grandchildren; and to her many other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary Jo
  Walker.
