R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Nicole ElMurr has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
an aide in the office of State Representative Marsha Farney during |
|
|
the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. ElMurr has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; her duties have |
|
|
included casework, bill analysis, and administrative tasks; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Nabil and Kathy ElMurr, Nicole |
|
|
ElMurr is a member of the Class of 2016 at Texas A&M University, and |
|
|
her work in Representative Farney's office has been conducted under |
|
|
the auspices of the university's Public Policy Internship Program; |
|
|
her future plans include law school and continuing involvement in |
|
|
government service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Nicole ElMurr for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Marsha |
|
|
Farney and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. ElMurr as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
