R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Giovanny Macedo of Houston is commemorating a |
|
|
special milestone in his life on June 4, 2015, when he graduates |
|
|
from the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student at TSD since the fall of 2010, Mr. Macedo |
|
|
has particularly enjoyed studying language arts and science; |
|
|
outside of school, he has been a valued employee with Ellis and |
|
|
Salazar Garage and Body Shop, where he will continue to work |
|
|
following graduation; he also plans to enroll in the TSD Adult |
|
|
Curriculum for Community Employment and Social Skills program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In his leisure time, this outstanding young Texan |
|
|
enjoys reading books, watching movies, cleaning and organizing, and |
|
|
working with cars; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Graduation marks the beginning of a new and exciting |
|
|
chapter in Giovanny Macedo's life, and it is indeed fitting that he |
|
|
be honored for this noteworthy achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Giovanny Macedo on his graduation |
|
|
from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Macedo as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
