R E S O L U T I O N

|
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of |
|
|
Texas, 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, That House Rule 13, |
|
|
Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule 13, |
|
|
Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to |
|
|
resolve the differences on Senate Bill 507 (the placement and use of |
|
|
video cameras in self-contained classrooms or other settings |
|
|
providing special education services) to consider and take action |
|
|
on the following matter: |
|
|
House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(3), is suspended to permit the |
|
|
committee to add text on a matter which is not in disagreement by |
|
|
adding the following text to SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Section |
|
|
29.022(c)(1), Education Code: |
|
|
the inside of |
|
|
Explanation: This addition is necessary to clarify that the |
|
|
inside of a bathroom in a self-contained classroom or other special |
|
|
education setting may not be monitored by video cameras. |
