R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Callie Strock has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
an assistant in the office of State Representative Stephanie Klick |
|
|
during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Strock has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Originally from Fort Worth, Ms. Strock is a student |
|
|
at The University of Texas at Austin, where she is studying |
|
|
political communication; she has served her peers as vice president |
|
|
of philanthropy with the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity, and she has been |
|
|
named to the dean's list for the College of Communication; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative assistant with skill and dedication, and |
|
|
she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Callie Strock for her service as a |
|
|
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Stephanie Klick and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Strock as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
