R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ana Gonzalez has ably served her fellow Texans as
  district director for State Representative Joe Moody during the
  83rd and 84th Legislatures; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez began working with Representative
  Moody as his field director in 2012; since becoming district
  director, she has guided a number of projects, including a study for
  the Fort Bliss National Cemetery and the implementation of Little
  Free Libraries in Vinton and Westway; she has also worked on
  veterans' issues, and she has helped residents of District 78 with
  their concerns while ensuring the efficient operation of the
  district office; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Eduardo and Ana Laura
  Gonzalez, Ms. Gonzalez grew up in El Paso and Ciudad Juárez,
  Chihuahua, Mexico; she completed her bachelor's degree in political
  science at The University of Texas at Austin in 2010; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
  duties as district director with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Ana Gonzalez for her service as district
  director for State Representative Joe Moody and extend to her
  sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
