H.R. No. 3515

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Morgan H. Constantino has ably served her fellow Texans as legislative director in the office of State Representative Helen Giddings during the 84th Legislature; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Constantino's resourcefulness and initiative have earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to carrying forth the legislative agenda of Representative Giddings have helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, A graduate of the Appalachian School of Law and member of the State Bar of Texas, Ms. Constantino was especially involved in work on House Bills 2684 and 2885, relating to the use of force against students by public school district officers; she first joined the office of Representative Giddings as an intern during the 83rd Legislative Session, and she went on to serve as a legislative aide before her promotion to legislative director in December 2014; in addition, she has been a law clerk for the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia and for the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs; and

WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby commend Morgan Constantino for her service as legislative director in the office of State Representative Helen Giddings and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Constantino as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
