R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Elaina Fowler has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
chief of staff in the office of State Representative Helen Giddings |
|
|
during the 84th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since becoming a legislative employee, Ms. Fowler |
|
|
has contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; |
|
|
handling a wide range of challenging tasks, she has provided vital |
|
|
leadership and helped ensure the efficient operation of the |
|
|
representative's office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her 13-year career as a public policy |
|
|
professional, Elaina Fowler has distinguished herself as a |
|
|
community outreach manager, a campaign manager, a technology |
|
|
consultant, a field organizer, and a political consultant; she has |
|
|
worked for a number of state and national organizations, including |
|
|
the 2008 Hillary Clinton campaign, the United Nations Association, |
|
|
the Travis County Democratic Party, and the Texas American |
|
|
Federation of Teachers; Ms. Fowler has been a legislative staffer |
|
|
for the Texas House of Representatives since November 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|
|
duties as chief of staff with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Elaina Fowler for her service as chief |
|
|
of staff in the office of State Representative Helen Giddings and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Fowler as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
