R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Danielle Cooper has ably served her fellow Texans as
  an intern in the office of State Representative Helen Giddings
  during the 84th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the Texas
  Legislative Internship Program, Ms. Cooper has provided vital
  assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  including scheduling; in addition to learning more about the
  legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
  State, she has gained valuable experience in the field of public
  service; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Cooper is a student at Baylor University, where
  she is a member of the Honors Student Advisory Council; she has also
  served the university in a number of other capacities, including
  peer leader, committee member, and student guide; previously, she
  interned in the office of the McLennan County criminal district
  attorney; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Danielle Cooper for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Helen
  Giddings and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Cooper as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
