R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Antonio M. Anguiano has ably served his fellow |
|
|
Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Terry |
|
|
Canales during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Anguiano has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Anguiano holds a bachelor's degree in political |
|
|
science and a master's in public administration from St. Mary's |
|
|
University; he previously worked as a city manager graduate intern |
|
|
in Shavano Park and as a substitute physics teacher in the Northside |
|
|
Independent School District in San Antonio; furthermore, he has |
|
|
volunteered his time and talents with a number of worthwhile |
|
|
organizations, including St. Mary's Continuing the Heritage and |
|
|
Boys & Girls Clubs of America; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Antonio M. Anguiano for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Terry |
|
|
Canales and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Anguiano as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
