R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carnell Emanuel has ably served his fellow Texans as |
|
|
an aide in the office of State Representative Helen Giddings during |
|
|
the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Emanuel has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Emanuel earned a bachelor's degree in business |
|
|
administration from Baylor University, where he worked as an |
|
|
assistant in the Office of Governmental Relations; active in a |
|
|
number of school organizations, he served as vice president of the |
|
|
Baylor Ambassadors and as a leadership team member at the |
|
|
Entrepreneurship Living-Learning Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Carnell Emanuel for his service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Helen |
|
|
Giddings and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Emanuel as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
